Engagement program was a great platform for students to learn about understanding values of home, parents, grand parents, love towards them., etc., Students also learnt how to icebreak with residents and how to share hapinesss with them.They served food to them and enjoyed the time by singing & dancing. it was hard to break and get back to school for feedback session, though.

SMRUTHIE:
I have learnt people face different problems. I though i was only one facing problemswhich is not true,i experienced true love.
SIDDARTH RAJESH:
The impact is still fresh in memory and will never go, no type of money can buy this experience.
ANIRUDDHA:
I learnt life has no easy path to take.I learnt perhaps the first time in my life what real pain means.
Shreyaa:
This visit to Annai Illam taught me that there is so much more to life than just books,phonesetc., and made me realise the joy of interaction.This made me realise how selfish i had been
Lokesh Kumar :
I learnt in this experience that there are many more things happening in this world other than computers, cellphones,No gadgets can give this happiness which i had with those paattis ( grand mothers).
Ishwari Muthukumar:
Children enjoyed interacting with the residents of Annai Illam, Being 10th graders they learned and realised the joy of giving.( It was a part of value education).

It was as good as our visits to homes(With the exclusive interact club members), though not the club members this time.
Aishwarya :
I knew how selfish i was, How i argue for simple things, I always demand for something more than i have , but these gradmas were happy with whatever they had.I learnt to be happy, with whatever i have.

I learnt i will never let my parents to an old age home at all.

What we learnt was that we could change the world with just one random act of kindness,in this experience just by visiting them we could make them feel like they were not alone.

The point i learnt today was that the life which i am living and which i call hard is very stupid. I learnt that so much people out there who is really having hard time and that love shown by us is all the they need.

I learnt about the power of humanity and the destruction to the emotional status of the person who is deprived of it. I learnt the power of love.

Positive attitude not to be selfish, we have so much,yet we complain and those grandmas have very little yet they were so happy.

I made wonderful friends, especially with Radhalakshmi Paatti. They felt young talking to us.They took me as friends.

What i learnt was we should always take care of the elders and make them feel happy, if we donot when we are old we will regret it.

The fact that all people in the world are not happy and the happy people must always help the needy.

I learnt people are not robots,They have emotions.Emotions make up most of our lives and channeling our emotions in a positive way is good. Speaking to those gradmas made them happier.

I learnt the fact that come what may life has to move on and we have to take life in a positive way.

I learnt that everybody deserve to have love in their life.The love i showed for the Paati ( Grandma ) brought joy in their faces.

I feel that i get more than i need. Those people out in Homes had no demands and yet they were happy.I will try and not demand any more and still be happy with whatever i have.

It was surprise to me to see so many old people were abandoned by their own family.I learnt that the most valuable quality is to respect elders.I will respect all from now onward.
